The Kosmos Innovation Center Business Booster is an accelerator program developed by the Kosmos Innovation Center in partnership with Uncharted.

This 5-month (November-March) program will feature two 5-day bootcamps for local Ghanaian agribusinesses. The first bootcamp, Business Model Validation, is designed to provide entrepreneurs with a step-by-step methodology to quickly validate and refine their venture’s business model for growth. The second bootcamp, Investment Preparedness, is designed to prepare entrepreneurs to raise funding.

  • This program, including both bootcamps, will be held at the Impact Hub in Accra, Ghana.

  • Only one! Ventures that are selected will participate in the Business Model Validation bootcamp in November 2017, followed by the Investment Preparedness bootcamp in March 2018.

  • Yes. The focus of this program is to find and equip local, promising Ghanaian agribusinesses to become investment ready.

  • This differs for each program, but we typically choose 10-12 ventures.

  • There is no cost! We just ask that your team commits to being present for both 5-day bootcamps, with checkins in between and follow up calls afterwards.

  • Many of the mentors for this program will be local to the Ghanaian agribusiness ecosystem, but will feature some relevant international mentors as well. Please email Emily Scott to learn more if you are interested in being a mentor for this program!
